Brooker Creek Preserve

The Friends Trail at Brooker Creek Preserve is a two-mile loop trail that traverses uplands and circles wetlands along Brooker Creek. The Friends Trail is located near the Brooker Creek Preserve Nature Center, which offers guided hikes of the park’s 4-mile loop trail system. It is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset.
The Lora Lane Interpretive Trail is a short drive from the Center. It takes hikers through a pine flatwood community and past a swamp that’s under restoration. The trail ends at a small rain shelter. Near Moccasin Lake, you can visit Brigham Dock, where you might see a resident alligator. The park also houses several injured birds of prey.
